What is your role in Weatherstock?:

Band Leaders: Have you performed in public as a band before? Does your band perform regularly? Have you performed at Weatherstock before? Please supply details here.:
Aye, we've been performin in public now fer 'bout 2 years under th' current Leadership (meanin m'self...) an we've been in th' last 2 Weatherstock Festivals. A band with th' same name, from Second Breakfast in Crickhollow also performed at Weatherstock 2011, but that group seemed t' go moribund not long afterwards, so this group is sort o' th' re-incarnated Breakfast Club =). We play a weekly informal concert in Bree on Saturday mid-days, as well as performin as various server events hosted by Second Breakfast Kinship, plus comin t' play in Landy fer Winterstock last year an th' Winter Celebration a month or so before that, an at one o' th' Windy Acres Horse Events (can't recall th' name o' that right now). We've played fer th' occasional weddin anone or two hired concerts fer other Kinships, as well as auctionin off a concert in th' 2013 Walk.
Weatherstock Band Application Section (only Band Leaders should fill this out):
Band Registration: Band Registration opens on Monday May 19th and closes on Sunday May 25th.
FYI: Each band will be paired with a "Roadie" from our Event Staff to ensure that the bands are all ready for Weatherstock. Be sure to direct questions to your Roadie, and to answer their questions promptly.
Note: Weatherstock is a competition. Winners will be determined at the summit following the show. One prize will be awarded via an internet vote of all attendees, a second prize will be awarded via an internal vote of LMB members.
There will be no voting-with-feet and no voting-with-hope-tokens this year.
Band Selection: There are 10 performance slots for Weatherstock, to be chosen by weighted lottery. Each band gets 1 ticket for applying. Each LMB Officer may give 1 ticket to a band of their choice. The 10 bands are selected randomly from this pool.
Bands: You are available to perform a 15-minute set anytime during Weatherstock on Saturday June 14th (tentatively 1:00pm-5:00pm /servertime EDT)? Slots will be assigned randomly.:

Introduce yourself or your band here.:
Our Kin is called Th’ Breakfast Club on Landroval but our home is Crickhollow where we are known as Second Breakfast. Breakfast Club is a Band that originated with th’ Second Breakfast Kinship on Crickhollow, but which now counts as Band Members folks from 3 or 4 other Kinships as well. Th’ thing that binds us t’gether is th’ desire t’ play GOOD music fer th’ Free Peoples, an t’ add t’ th’ repertoire o’ music floatin around Arda as many new arrangements, interestin lyrics an yes, even original melodies as we can. Although we have several members that come up with new songs fer th’ Band t’ play, we ain’t above playin other folks’ tunes, so long as they are well-built an musically interestin. An we hope that others’ll find our contributions t’ be worth playin as well. Tho I’m sure this can be said ’bout any o’ th’ Bands that’ll be playin in Weatherstock (an many that won’t be as well), we’re all just terribly pleased that th’ Valar have given us th’ ability t’ make music in Arda, an we hope t’ use that ability help bring harmony, both literally an figuratively, t’ lands o’ Middle-earth. <—— Copied from our website ;P It's early in th' morning, an I'm a bit rushed ;)
Ah... IF th' Breakfast Club makes th' Lottery cut, I got a request; Had some members settin a date fer their (in-game) weddin, which happens t' have been chosen as June 1st, same day I requested our Concert Series concert. So if we are among th' bands playin, Id' like t' officially change that request t' Saturday, May 31, any time in th' afternoon.
