ATTENTION WEATHERSTOCK XII BANDLEADERS, MUSICIANS, FANS, and STAFF ...

Due to the ongoing server issues in LOTRO, Weatherstock XII has been postponed from Saturday July 18, 2020.

UPDATE: Given the current server situation, we will not be rescheduling for July 25th as previously announced. We will come up with a new proposed date once the server situation is resolved.

We experienced a crashes as riding the band towards Weatherstock last night , and been allready worried due the actuall server situation , how tghis will affect the concert , So thanks for this decission , we think its the right thing to do as well

Would be a shame having, after so much work from all the organizers and the bands ,an event crashed by Server hickups

DHS agrees that this is the right decision though it does put us in a bit of a bind as 2 of our members will be working on the 25th, and may not be able to play (depending on how things go at their jobs) but we will be able to play regardless.

I was really looking forward for today, but I understand because I was worried about the server issues myself. So far it looks like Lindamar can take the schedule change...

Also, it will be fair for the bands who have been affected by having the unstable servers as their main ones.

Putting aside the fact that the servers went down later, you also need into take account the strain that Weatherstock puts on the server even under normal circumstances, let alone when there have been clear signs of issues over a number of days. It is indeed sad for all of us who had to take the day off work, but unfortunately things like this happen sometimes and are beyond our control.

I'm not sure from information here and elsewhere whether the new date has been confirmed. I see July 25 here but on Facebook there was a post saying that conflicted with an event on another server.

Is there a definitive post anywhere?
