The application submitted by rhryss is as follows:

Band Leaders: Have you performed in public as a band before? Does your band perform regularly? Have you performed at Weatherstock before? Please supply details here.:
Yes, but only twice so far. We plan to start playing a monthly concert on the 2nd (usually) Sunday of each month at 1 pm Server Time. (Our next show will be a week early to avoid the last minute chaos that the music system update scheduled for the 9th is sure to cause.) So our next concert will be on the 7th of June, Bree stage, 1 pm.
No, we only started the band around the first of this year so have not yet had that opportunity.
Weatherstock Band Application Section (only Band Leaders should fill this out):
Band Registration: Band Registration opens on Monday May 18th and closes on Sunday May 31st.
FYI: Each band will be paired with a "Roadie" from our Event Staff to ensure that all bands are ready for Weatherstock. Be sure to direct questions to your Roadie, and to answer questions promptly
Note: Weatherstock is a competition. Winners will be determined at the summit following the show. One prize will be awarded via an internet vote of all attendees, a second prize will be awarded via an internal vote of LMB members.
There will be no voting-with-feet and no voting-with-hope-tokens this year.
New this year: Band selection for the competition will occur *AFTER* all the Weatherstock Concert Series shows are completed. Only competing bands will play in the WCS, non-competing bands will have a separate show.
Weatherstock Concert Series: The Weatherstock Concert Series is a set of concerts put on during the weeks leading up to Weatherstock. These are 1-hour concerts and these slots will be given only to bands that apply for the competition.
New this year: Playing in the Weatherstock Concert Series *IS* required for the competition. This is an opportunity for bands to showcase their talents for the judges to select them.
Competition Band Selection: There are 10 slots for Weatherstock, to be chosen by weighted lottery. Each band gets 1 ticket for applying. Each LMB Officer may give 1 ticket to a band of their choice. The 10 bands are selected randomly from this pool.
ALL BANDS: You can apply either to compete at the summit on Sat. July 25th, or to participate in the non-competitive warm-up show on Fri. July 24th:

I'm Zinnelle. I don't really consider myself the band leader, that would be our main transcriber, Skjalden. I am, however, the band manager as well as one of the musicians and it falls to me to set up schedules and organize events for the band (and the kinship we belong to, the Department of Holbyt Security). Our kinship was born during the TTHTI and SHIELD livestream events led by former community manager, Sapience. We play all sorts of music with the exception of rap, country (mostly), and Swedish dance band music (whatever that is). Our band was born out of several members' love the music system and music in general. We've been having a blast so far and look forward to performing many more concerts for the citizens of Landroval.
