Many, many, many, many, many times; Yep; Yep; Th' band's been t' th' 4 previous Weatherstocks, tho I wasn't associated with 'em th' first time. We perform every week in Bree on Saturdays at 1PM (usually in Crickhollow, but th' 12st Saturday o' each month we come t' Landroval), an we've played at numerous festivals an events, most recently at th' Forest o' OAKS in Laurelin.

Weatherstock Band Application Section (only Band Leaders should fill this out):

Band Registration: Band Registration opens on Monday May 18th and closes on Sunday May 31st.

FYI: Each band will be paired with a "Roadie" from our Event Staff to ensure that all bands are ready for Weatherstock. Be sure to direct questions to your Roadie, and to answer questions promptly

Note: Weatherstock is a competition. Winners will be determined at the summit following the show. One prize will be awarded via an internet vote of all attendees, a second prize will be awarded via an internal vote of LMB members.

There will be no voting-with-feet and no voting-with-hope-tokens this year.

New this year: Band selection for the competition will occur *AFTER* all the Weatherstock Concert Series shows are completed. Only competing bands will play in the WCS, non-competing bands will have a separate show.

Weatherstock Concert Series: The Weatherstock Concert Series is a set of concerts put on during the weeks leading up to Weatherstock. These are 1-hour concerts and these slots will be given only to bands that apply for the competition.

New this year: Playing in the Weatherstock Concert Series *IS* required for the competition. This is an opportunity for bands to showcase their talents for the judges to select them.

Competition Band Selection: There are 10 slots for Weatherstock, to be chosen by weighted lottery. Each band gets 1 ticket for applying. Each LMB Officer may give 1 ticket to a band of their choice. The 10 bands are selected randomly from this pool.

ALL BANDS: You can apply either to compete at the summit on Sat. July 25th, or to participate in the non-competitive warm-up show on Fri. July 24th:
Compete: Sat July 25th

Competition Bands: Please select possible times for your 1-hour Weatherstock Concert Series show (check ALL that apply).:
Sat Jun 13: Noon-6pm

Competition Bands: Please indiciate which of the above times would work BEST for you for your 1-hour Weatherstock Concert Series show.:
Don't see a way t' "check" ant slots in th' above item. Basically we could play any time on a Saturday or Sunday. Fridays don't works so well fer us. As t' th' BEST slot, any Saturday in th' early afternoon would be best, but we're flexible, long as it's a weekend.

Competition Bands: Do you have a preferred location for your Weatherstock Concert Series show? (low-level areas draw the biggest crowds).:
Th' Fairgrounds in Buckland'd be nice, but we ain't tied to it

ALL BANDS: Fill out the following section!

Multi-boxing: While not prohibited, please be aware that lag can be severe at the summit during the competition, so use multi-boxing at your own risk! The show must go on.

Bands: how many musician characters are in your band? Note: we require a minimum of four members to be considered for the competition at the summit.:
Membership's sort o' a fluid concept... but we'll have 8 players on Weathertop ;)
